staff are untrustworthy and hotel staff cover up for them. I left an item in the room of about a value of £250. I checked out and and 2 hours later I realised that I'd left the item there. I checked the find my device app and could see it was still connected to the Internet and it was still there after i checked out. now its been turned off. staff didn't want to know kept saying they would ring me back. never did. If there's people who can't hand things in, then nothing is safe in your room when you leave it. i was packing my bag and didn't have the item in my safe anymore. just left it on the side by accident. with the proof i have i will contacting the police. The hotel will know who cleaned the room and at what time. I find it disgusting they know (even if the staff don't admit it), that there's a thief and untrustworthy staff in this Hotel. I recomend a different hotel. I wouldn't go anywhere where there is a thief at large.

I stayed here for one night and it was a terrible experience. Room was big but with broken shower floor. After talking to staff, we got downgraded with smaller room. (The staff said that we were upgraded with the room with broken shower but if we re not happy with it, we can get the smaller room with not broken shower.) We choose to have a smaller room. The phone in the smaller room is broken. I cannot call the room service or reception. There is no hand soap or comb. I complaint to the reception about the comb, I was told that this is environmental friendly hotel and she suggested me to go to train station,s Boots to buy one. I felt a bit offense about her attitude. I don't mind to pay for the comb but I do mind to walk around the city with my messy hair. :(

The hotel is in a convent location with plenty of places to go for food/drink. The hotel is currently being renovated and we stayed in a new room which was perfect. The beds are so comfortable. The room was spotless and well equipped. The bar area is pleasant with a large tv which was showing sports. The breakfast was very good and all the staff were very pleasant. The only downside to this hotel is the £25 charge for parking. I would stay at this hotel again

We went to use the spa and it was definitely not worth the price paid at all. Firstly the hotel is undergoing renovations which is understandable but to get from the reception to the spa is literally a mission .. then the changing room which is in a different floor is just a hotel bedroom without the bed in and some lockers.. went back to the spa reception and was told to use the thermal suite whilst we wait for treatment, the thermal suite was a very small space and limited it has steam room, sauna(out of over), rock sauna, ice shower & hot rock lounger (I think they are called) … but there’s no pool or jacuzzi. For my spa treatment I have back neck and shoulder it wasn’t relaxing at all it was rough and I felt as though i was just being rubbed and pocked.. it was by far the worst spa treatment I’ve had. Also with the spa, Prosecco is given but I had to keep asking about it as no one asked when we want it or anything. If you’re looking for a good spa I would avoid this one it’s a waste of money

Went to the spa for a hen-do in mid march, was told about a week prior that there was no gym or changing rooms as they were under construction. Staff were lovely but we had to ask for our complimentary prosecco - there was no jacuzzi or pool as we were told there was prior to booking and the sauna was out of order. Not to mention that the only elevator to the spa was in an interesting condition with black tarp all over the walls.
